About this Website

Dia duit!

Welcome to The ADog Blog. My name is Adam Cronin, aka Aspie ADog or just Aspie. I am the curator of this place. I hail from the city of Limerick in Ireland, and I am an actually autistic person. What you will be reading from now until I press the quit button is one autistic person’s experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). From how I navigate the neurotypical world around me, to what I love and loathe in life, to my opinions on the politics of being autistic among other things. My personality and experience of life so far is like an Internet Iceberg. i.e. So much more beneath the surface. I hope you enjoy what I choose to share here. And how I choose to share it will be in the form of Seasons. These seasons will run from October to July and each one will have a theme. Read on to understand the current theme in place and then click here if you are new and / or don’t understand what ASD even is in the first place!

Season 1: Welcome to my World

When I initially conceived the idea of this Blog, the first goal that came to mind was selling myself and who I am before selling my opinions. And so, my opening gambit for the time being is explaining who I am as an autistic individual, what I’m interested in, giving a sample of what makes me curious and a taste of my opinions on things that interest me.
