I also want to highlight the Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant by AnimeRaceFarmer because I think it is up there in terms of the best games that are set in underground Power Plants or Volcanoes. Are there things that could be trimmed and improved? Certainly, like the Elevators down to the facility itself. But I think throwing in random disasters and seeing how a random team reacts to the chaos is great content for those who stream Roblox on Twitch. Especially if you happen to own a Private Server and have no idea what you’re supposed to be doing, which has been my experience thus far!

Another place that employs similar mechanics is the Pinewood Computer Core. It’s another classic that seemed all over the place to me at one point, but it is definitely the best game in the entire Pinewood collection, to be brutally honest. Because most of the other games that are affiliated are just empty shells that should be burned to the ground and rebuilt from scratch. Too bad I know practically nothing about coding or scripting… Otherwise, I’d happily make it a pet project! Were I not snowed in by pet projects already.

Speaking of classics, I will now conclude this list with two other long-standing games that I have played that are also iconic in their own ways. At least in my opinion. The first is The Normal Elevator by NowDoTheHarlemShake. It’s basically a never-ending elevator ride where the environment constantly changes with each floor arrived at and one must be on their toes when it does. Especially when you are suddenly dragged into a random mini-game or must survive an incoming disaster to keep on riding!

And the second is Welcome to Bloxburg by user Bloxburg Development. It’s basically the ultimate adult life simulator where you have to maintain your avatar’s attributes by cooking, playing, keeping clean and sleeping. Earn money by working a variety of jobs and use it to decorate a house your own way. Subscribing to Premium Roblox opens up more possibilities there which I don’t see as surprising considering the constant stream of players there and the fact the game is over 10 Years in existence and still going strong. Although… a Premium Subscription to Roblox for free Robux and premium mechanics in certain games like this one… I wonder…

Anyway, that’s a general sample of what I like and play on Roblox, but it is only a small fraction of the thousands of games that exist on the platform. Sadly, I only have enough time and money to put into the best of the rest. If there are any games out there that have flown under my radar for some reason, tell me about them in the comments section or via any of the ways available on Information & Contact Me. You might end up tempting me to make an updated list in one years’ time.
Also, I’m always curious about the music used in modern Roblox games. In fact, a Subsection to The Curious Aspie I would like to launch in 2025 is called Wham, Bam, Shazam. Essentially, the goal of each post there would be to find every piece of music used in a Roblox game, at least for starters, using the app Shazam (#NotSponsored). However, I don’t expect to find every song every time with the app and will probably require the help of you, the reader. More details will follow on the other side of Christmas.
In the meantime, join me sometime next week for the third instalment of my Taste in Gaming Posting Spree where I’ll be trying to make sense of my history with Game Consoles, or lack thereof.
You’ve been reading a post from The Aspie, speaking by myself, for myself, unlike Autism Speaks.
